Highways & Transport

Members in this service, which has its headquarters at at Church Square House,Scunthorpe, are responsible for highway maintenance, road safety, traffic and transport, car parking and shopmobility. Members at Water's Edge in Barton are involved in land reclamation projects.

Joint Consultative Committee

The Strategic and Development Services Joint Consultative Committee consists of managers and stewards from our service and others in the same HR Group. The JCC is administered by our HR Adviser, Derek Coxon and Louisa Rae.The Committee, which meets approximately every two months is an opportunity for us to raise concerns on your behalf in relation to service conditions, health and safety etc. and for management to share information with us. Any issues that cannot be resolved at directorate level can be taken to the Corporate Consultative Group.
