Finance Services

Members in Finance Service provide financial advice to councillors and other officers. They are responsible for financial procedures, audit and accountancy and insurance and risk management. There are also "frontline" staff dealing with benefits and rents. Payments and payroll staff ensure that we get paid!

Joint Consultative Committee

The Strategic and Development Services Joint Consultative Committee consists of managers and stewards from our service and others in the same HR Group. The JCC is administered by our HR Adviser, Derek Coxon and Louisa Rae.The Committee, which meets approximately every two months is an opportunity for us to raise concerns on your behalf in relation to service conditions, health and safety etc. and for management to share information with us. Any issues that cannot be resolved at directorate level can be taken to the Corporate Consultative Group.
